User Security

Users' access to the menus and functions in Net•Yield are based on security privileges which are assigned to the user in User Security. If the user does not have the proper security to access a certain part of the menu, it will not appear as a menu option when the user is logged into the system. The system-wide Net•Yield menu options can be controlled in Customize Menu. Users are created and their security privileges maintained in User Security. New users can be created by copying an existing user’s security profile or by selecting from one of the pre-defined user roles. Only users with “Security” privileges can create and maintain users in the system.

User Security Fields

User	The user ID. The user ID must be unique.
Name	The user name.
Profile Like Another (Y/N)	Enter Y (Y=yes) to use an existing user security profile to create a new user security profile; enter N (N=no) if you want to create a new user security profile from scratch.
